Brian joined Calder Capital in August of 2023 as an M&A Advisor serving Chicago, IL.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Brian brings 35+ years of experience in structured finance/commercial lending, M&A, and executive management with him. Throughout his 25-year lending career, he focused on new business development including originating, structuring, and closing senior and subordinated debt financings within the media and communications sector. Over the last decade, Brian has held an executive management position at Concourse Team Express in sporting goods retail and B2B, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations and led expansion via strategic acquisitions including multiple debt and equity capital raises.
