About the Role
As the PR and Communications Associate, you will be key in creating and maintaining Calder Capital’s content, digital channels, and public relations strategies. Working cross-functionally both with internal team members and external partners, you will ensure our brand is well-represented across all platforms while driving engagement and enhancing visibility.
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, creative, and tech-savvy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multitasking across various digital marketing and PR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Video Content Management
- Coordinate video production with an external partnerÂ
- Manage Calder Capital’s YouTube channel, including SEO optimization, creating thumbnails and ensuring regular posting.
- Post videos to the website and coordinate social media sharing with an external partner
- Develop and manage content schedules for monthly videos, off-market seller videos, buyer introductions, and client testimonials.
Social Media and Online Presence
- Coordinate with an external partner to produce bite-sized/short-form videos and social posts.
- Keep Google My Business and Bing listings up-to-date.
- Photograph team events for social media and website use.
- Explore opportunities to expand content sharing on other platformsÂ
Website Management
- Maintain an evergreen, SEO-optimized website, including team bios, awards, tombstones, and expertise pages.
- Cleaning up outdated information and forms improve site performance and user experience.
- Ensure that key features of the website such as company and team information is accurateÂ
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Monitor Calder’s representation on third-party platforms.
- Utilize tools to enhance SEO visibility.
Public Relations
- Draft, distribute, and track press releasesÂ
- Collaborate with buyers, sellers, and media outlets to gather quotes and comments for PR materials.
- Create posts and announcements to the website, including updates on transactions and awards.
- Maintain relationships with media contacts
- Assist with email/mailing campaigns and analyze their effectiveness.
Content Creation
- Write and post blogs, market updates, new hire announcements, office openings, and award recognitions.
- Develop expertise pages, case studies, and testimonials to highlight firm capabilities.
Material ManagementÂ
- Create and maintain marketing materials for both internal and external use
- Organize and optimize marketing assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PR, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools.
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Canva, YouTube Studio, Google My Business, and PR distribution platforms.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to create compelling, error-free content.
- Tech-savvy and adept at managing websites, content management systems, and digital marketing analytics.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
