Introducing Logan Theodorou!
Calder Capital, a nationwide mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, is thrilled to welcome Logan Theodorou to its team as a Buy-Side Associate.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Logan holds a Bachelor’s in Finance. During his time with OSU, he participated in many of the organizations offered such as the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, the Investment Banking Program, the Fisher Real Estate Society, and more. In his high school years, Logan attended Toledo Technology Academy, a school with a strong focus on engineering and manufacturing technology. On top of the standard curriculum, he gained exposure to computer-aided manufacturing, CNC machining, plastic and metal manufacturing, and tool and die. Logan’s experience provides great insights and value to further Calder’s expertise in manufacturing.
Prior to joining Calder, Logan held an Investment Banking Internship at Copper Run where he worked on building prospect lists, company research, and prospect vetting to aid the firm’s buy-side work. He also held an Investment Sales Internship at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services. He completed a 60-day crash course designed to ramp up commercial real estate investment sales brokers. Logan shared that the 2022 real estate market was highly transactional which led to a high level of experience in nearly every real estate asset class.
When asked what led Logan to the decision to join Calder Capital, he shared, “Calder's entrepreneurial culture, extensive training and reference materials, and its commitment to continuous improvement of its employees are what drew me into Calder. The work Calder does builds upon my previous experience in lower middle market M&A, as well as client-facing skills learned during my summer at Matthews Real Estate.”
Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and the belief that true growth comes through experience, Logan is determined to apply his dedication, integrity, and collaborative spirit to Calder. Regarding what he is most looking forward to with the Calder team, he commented, "I am most excited about continuously developing as a professional during my time with Calder, enabling me to effectively serve our clients and contribute to the company's continued success."
Outside the office, Logan engages in various activities that help him maintain a healthy work-life balance. He prioritizes health as a way to unwind and clear his mind. As an aspiring par golfer, he values the moments spent on the green. Logan loves to explore and travel, his favorite destination is Greece, a country he feels deeply connected to due to his father's heritage.
Max Friar, Calder’s Managing Partner, remarks, "Logan’s background is diverse and well-rounded. It is rare that we are able to find a young motivated rockstar who has experience in investment banking, real estate, sales, and has a technical manufacturing background. This type of broad exposure to the world will serve him well as he tackles trying to pair sellers with our buy-side clients. We are ecstatic to welcome him to the team!”
At Calder Capital, Logan will play a crucial role in the Buy-Side team. The Buy-Side team is dedicated to providing buyers with exclusive, off-market opportunities through targeted outreach to potential sellers that meet each clients' specific needs. Logan will be responsible for helping structure deals, draft offers, negotiate, and manage due diligence processes and closing.
We are excited to have Logan on board and look forward to his contributions to our team and clients. If you’re interested in learning more about Logan or his professional background, we encourage you to connect with him on LinkedIn.
