Calder Capital is an organization committed to fostering growth. We take immense pride in our intern program and in developing the professionals of tomorrow. In fact, many of our advisors came to us as undergraduate interns, excited and hungry for knowledge.
We’re Proud to Introduce Jack Gripton!
Jack is a Sophomore at Michigan State University and pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Political & Constitutional Theory. He is from West Bloomfield, Michigan, but lived in Singapore during middle school. Jack’s previous internships have been heavily law-focused. In 2021 he was a Criminal Legal Intern and in 2022 he was a Corporate Legal Assistant.
When not working, Jack actively pursues his passion for outdoor activities with friends and family. He enjoys trail running, golfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, and boating. When he needs to recharge, Jack enjoys reading books or hitting the gym.
Jack’s determination makes the entire Calder team excited to welcome him. When asked what led him to choose an internship at Calder, Jack shared “I really enjoy being around people, and Law didn’t have a great avenue toward that in the long run. I noticed that Investment Banking specifically really emphasizes relationships and I felt that Calder Capital in particular was especially people-focused. I think it will be a great way for me to spend the summer and I think I’ll grow relationships that will last far beyond the summer with some incredible people. I am most looking forward to getting to know the people I’m working with and learning more about the industry.”
