Introducing Hannelore Green, Calder’s Newest Team Member!
Calder Capital is excited to welcome the newest addition to our team, Hannelore Green!
Hannelore has recently been appointed as the Continuous Improvement Director at Calder Capital. In her new role, she will play a critical part in driving the company’s growth by ensuring its operational excellence. With a focus on increasing efficiency and performance in marketing, professional networking, and operations, Hannelore will collaborate with teams across the organization to identify areas for improvement, implement process changes, and measure their success.
We’re Proud to Introduce Hannelore Green!
Hannelore graduated from Sparta High School. She holds a Michigan Property and Casualty insurance license. She grew up in Sparta, Michigan and recently moved to Rockford, Michigan. As someone who has always lived and worked in the area, she has a deep understanding of the tight knit communities that surround the greater Grand Rapids area.
She brings a strong track record of leadership and process improvement knowledge to her role as Continuous Improvement Director at Calder Capital. Most recently, Hannelore worked at an established insurance company located in Grandville, Michigan, where she excelled in servicing, selling, and streamlining internal processes. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and the ability to drive results, having been promoted to numerous management positions and tasked with overseeing a team, meeting sales goals, and creating efficiencies within her workplace.
She was introduced to Max Friar, Managing Partner, and Melissa Somero, Listing Manager at Calder Capital, in January 2022 by a mutual friend. Although she was not actively seeking a career change at the time, Max and Melissa’s persistence and commitment to following up with her made a lasting impression. Their efforts paid off and Hannelore agreed to meet with Max in the fall of 2022 to discuss joining the team. “The opportunity at Calder Capital aligned with my interests and felt like a strong match. I was really impressed by the company culture and saw it as a place where I could continue to develop my skills and grow professionally,” Hannelore noted. She accepted the offer to join the Calder Capital team in January 2023.
Hannelore is driven by a strong work ethic and a desire for success, inspired by the examples set by her parents. Her father, Scot Green, retired from General Motors after 31 years of dedicated service as a millwright, and also ran successful businesses in painting and tree cutting. Her mother, Catharina Green, is a nurse with 17 years of experience and was recognized with the 2019 Daisy Award at Sparrow Hospital for her exceptional work and compassionate patient care. Hannelore is motivated to leave a lasting impact in her career and create a fulfilling life for herself and her family, as her parents have done. Unlike many who are motivated by material possessions, her greatest motivation is the happiness and well-being of those closest to her.
Hannelore lives by the mantra, “Love and kindness are never wasted.” She embodies this ethos in all aspects of her life, striving to bring positivity and compassion to her interactions with others. She considers kindness a driving force in creating meaningful change, and attributes much of her professional success to her approach of embracing people with love and care. This quote serves as a constant reminder of the power and significance of simple acts of kindness.
When not at work, Hannelore loves exploring the beautiful landscapes of Michigan. She is an avid nature enthusiast who enjoys taking walks along scenic trails with friends, camping and kayaking with her boyfriend, and dabbling in capturing the beauty of nature through photography. In her downtime, she loves to decorate her home, care for her plants, and unwinding with a good book. During the spring, she and her boyfriend can be found tapping trees and making maple syrup.
“We are delighted to welcome Hannelore to the Calder Capital team. In only a short time, she has already improved our prospecting and public relations processes. We are confident and excited that her dedication to continuous improvement will drive positive changes in our organization,” commented Max Friar, Calder’s Managing Director.
