October 2019 – The Calder Capital/Small Business Deal Advisors Team is extremely pleased to announce that they have broken their own closing record of 18 transactions in 2018 with the successful closing of transaction #19, Marco’s New American Bistro, by Small Business Deal Advisor’s Doug Yntema on October 9, 2019. Year-to-date Calder Capital has closed 10 transactions and Small Business Deal Advisors has closed 9.

According to Calder Capital Managing Partner Max Friar, “2019 has certainly been a year of continued strong momentum forward for our firms. Nationally, the number of M&A transactions has slowed from 2018’s record pace but our team continues to push forward at a blistering pace in the pursuit of our goal to become the #1 M&A Advisory Firm in the Midwest.
Friar continued, “We are setting in place the infrastructure to become unstoppable. In 2019, we have added staff, formalized a year-round internship program and closed on a new office space downtown Grand Rapids. 2020 will bring the addition of multiple staff, a move into our new space and the rolling out of innovative new service offerings. We are buckling down for a stretch goal of 30 transactions!”
