Stevie winners will be presented their awards on Tuesday, June 10 in New York.
Calder Capital has been named the winner of the Bronze Stevie® Award in the Financial Services Company of the Year, Medium category in the 23rd Annual American Business Awards®.
Between 2023 and 2025, Calder Capital, an emerging national leader in lower middle-market mergers and acquisitions, opened 6 new offices and hired 26 additional staff members, and posted a 79% revenue increase year-over-year. Calder was able to achieve spectacular growth in the face of an overall M&A Industry that has faced challenges. Since early 2023, the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) industry has faced challenges such as economic uncertainty, rising interest rates, and increased regulatory scrutiny, leading to a decline in global deal activity.
This year’s recognition marks Calder Capital’s fifth consecutive year of being honored as a Stevie award winner. Past recognitions in the American Business Awards include:
- For the Fourth Consecutive Year, Calder Capital Was Honored in the 2024 American Business Awards® as a Stevie® Award Winner

Another judge noted that Calder “has carved out a niche helping small businesses often ignored by bulge bracket firms,” and called their achievements “really impressive.”
“This recognition is a testament to our incredible team and our clients who trust us to represent them in some of the most significant events of their lives,” said Max Friar, Founder of Calder Capital. “To be honored among America’s best businesses speaks volumes about our team, our culture, our vision, and our commitment to delivering top-tier M&A advisory. We are truly honored by this recognition.”
