Calder Capital is thrilled to announce the successful acquisition of H.A. Campbell Supply, a plumbing and heating supply wholesaler based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, by Luke Fleischmann of Middleville, Michigan.
H.A. Campbell Supply, founded in 1960, has been a family-owned and operated business serving the West Michigan community for over six decades. The company offers a variety of plumbing and heating products, including showerheads, toilets, sinks, bathtubs, valves, faucets, boilers, water heaters, and air conditioning ventilation products. Over the years, Jim Campbell, Steve Campbell, and Michelle Hendricks have provided excellent service and quality products, earning the company a strong reputation with its customer base. Looking to transition into retirement, Jim, Steve, and Michelle engaged Calder Capital’s Sell-Side team to find the Company’s successor.
To ensure a smooth transition, Jim and Steve will remain temporarily as consultants as they prepare for their upcoming retirement. Michelle is eager to be part of the future of the newly established H.A. Campbell Supply Company.
Luke Fleischmann has acquired H.A. Campbell Supply, bringing with him a strong and diverse background in sales, distribution, and leadership. As the President of a waterworks supplier, Luke’s experience makes him a natural fit to lead H.A. Campbell Supply. His expertise and proven track record position him as the ideal successor to carry on the legacy of H.A. Campbell.
“We felt this was the perfect partner to expand our offerings and are looking forward to carrying on the legacy of customer service and quality products the Campbell Family has provided to the West Michigan area for over 60 years,” Luke noted.
Rob Stasiak of Calder Capital served as the Exclusive M&A Advisor to H.A. Campbell Supply.
Calder’s Sell-Side team attracted the attention of 83 qualified buyers and secured multiple offers for H.A. Campbell Supply.
“Congratulations to all parties,” Rob commented. “I am pleased that we found a buyer who is legacy-oriented and brand-conscious, holding the family name in high regard. The business has had a successful history of 67 years, and the buyer saw the family name as a cornerstone of the business’s identity, which is built on strong ethical practices, customer trust, and loyalty.”
Max Friar, Founder of Calder Capital, stated: “Congratulations to both H.A. Campbell Supply and Luke on a successful transaction. This deal represents a perfect synergy between preserving a legacy and fostering growth. We wish both parties continued success moving forward.”
“Rob did a great job keeping the entire process moving forward,” Jim remarked. “He was always available to answer our questions and provide advice. We could not have handled this on our own. Rob & Calder’s guidance was crucial to the great outcome we have.”
“Rob was very easy to work with while we were putting this deal together. He was available to help in answering any questions or concerns I had during throughout the process,” added Luke.
