Introducing Roy Ghivoni to our Summer 2021 Internship Program!
Many of our current advisors came to us as undergraduate interns, green and eager to grow and be challenged! This program is important to the current and future state of our company
Our program is not coffee runs and paper pushing. Interns grind hard behind the scenes at many stages of our M&A process. They keep our prospecting process moving, they have their hands in every financial analysis and valuation, they collaborate to assemble Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) for each client that’s launched to market, and they conduct buyer research, among other tasks.
Since they’re such an integral part of our team, we want to introduce who’s working behind the scenes for the summer of 2021.
We’re proud to introduce Roy Ghivoni!
Roy is a Junior at the Honors College at Rutgers University and has traveled from his New Jersey home to spend the summer in Grand Rapids. He’s pursuing a double major in Finance and Business Analytics & Information Technology, and a minor in Economics. After he graduates, he hopes to work full-time in investment banking.
Roy balances his hard work with an appetite for adventure and fun. In addition to his educational pursuits, Roy is a lover of fantasy sports. He plays fantasy baseball, basketball, and football year-round. He’s an adrenaline junkie, and he loves to try new things. A lifelong optimist, Roy believes in viewing everything from a positive lens. We’re excited to have him bring that good energy to our Calder team!
Roy is the first member of his family to be born in the United States. While he’s traveled to 25 countries, his internship at Calder Capital has brought him to the Midwest for the very first time.
“I am extremely excited to get hands-on experience working on live deals and be a part of closing processes for buy-side and sell-side transactions,” remarked Roy. “I hope to have the chance to learn from all the members of the team with their unique backgrounds and experiences.”
Connect with Roy on LinkedIn and see what else he can accomplish.
