Calder Capital has been retained to assist our client, a diversified industrial distribution company, in the acquisition of an industrial packaging, safety supplies, or janitorial supplies distribution company. Our client is searching for an industrial distributor throughout a broad geographic range, including, within 90-miles of Chicago, or within 45-miles of the following cities: Cleveland, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Lexington, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or Kansas City. Our client is flexible with regard to varying management and ownership situations but is especially looking for family-owned businesses without a natural successor or transition plan in place.
Acquisition Criteria:
Target:Â Industrial packaging, safety supplies, or janitorial supplies distribution companies.
Geography:Â Companies located within a 90-mile radius from Chicago (Illinois) or a 45-mile radius from Cleveland (Ohio), Indianapolis (Indiana), Cincinnati (Ohio), Lexington (Kentucky), Louisville (Kentucky), Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), Los Angeles (California), San Francisco (California), Seattle (Washington), and Kansas City (Missouri).
Revenue: $2M – $15M, for all locations except Chicago – up to $30-40M revenue in Chicago.
Cash Flow: Up to $2-3M in EBITDA for all locations except Chicago – up to $5-6M EBITDA in Chicago.
Valuation/Deal Structure: Our client is flexible and would consider a heavy majority to a full buyout.
