Calder Capital has been retained to assist Grapids Irrigation with its strategy to acquire a plumbing company in West Michigan. Based in Grand Rapids, Grapids Irrigation installs, services, and repairs sprinkler systems for residential and commercial clients, sports fields and public areas. Grapids also performs underground drainage services in yards and around home and building foundations. 

Investment Criteria

Target: Plumbing company 

Geography: West Michigan (30-mile radius around Grand Rapids) 

Revenue: $500,000 to $2,000,000 

Licensing: Must have Master Plumber License 

Deal Structure: Grapids is flexible regarding deal structure; open to the seller keeping a minority share in the business, however the preference is a 100% buyout. 

Management Situations: Grapids is flexible in terms of the management situation and whether the current management team would like to stay on post-close.  

Time Frame: Grapids can move quickly on the right opportunity.
