Calder Capital is thrilled to announce the successful acquisition of Great Lakes Window Coverings (GLWC), a Holland, Michigan-based window covering retailer, by Todd Prescott of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Founded in 1991 by Henry and Ann Marie Meppelink, Great Lakes Window Coverings has provided blinds, shades, shutters, motorized shades, and bedding, along with measuring, installation, and repair services, for over three decades. Under the ownership of the Meppelink’s son, Randy, and his wife, Bonnie, GLWC grew into a well-respected family business serving homeowners across Michigan’s Lower Peninsula and northern Indiana. Randy and Bonnie, ready to focus on new ventures, engaged Calder Capital’s sell-side team.
Todd Prescott, a Michigan State graduate from Grand Rapids, MI, brings over 15 years of business development experience in the manufacturing sector. Seeking to leverage his expertise in the commercial interior space and build equity in his own venture, GLWC emerged as a natural fit, making for a seamless acquisition.
