Founded in 1973 by Charles Block, Wolverine Lawn Services is a landscape maintenance company offering residential and commercial services. Charles’ son, Thomas “Tom” Block, has led the company since purchasing it from his father in 2001. After nearly 50 years in the family business, Tom engaged Calder Capital’s Sell-Side team to sell Wolverine to spend more time with his family.
Total Property Management Group, based in Plainwell, MI, is a property maintenance company focused on commercial properties. This acquisition expands Total Property Management Group’s portfolio and capabilities in landscaping and property services in the residential sector.
Scott Nicholson of Calder Capital served as the lead Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor to Wolverine Lawn. Calder Capital’s efforts attracted 103 qualified buyers, resulting in 5 offers.
