Jim joined the Calder Capital team in July of 2024.

Raised in Kokomo, Indiana, and having lived in Holland, Michigan, for the past 35 years, Jim brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at prominent companies such as ODL, Inc., Whirlpool, Johnson Controls, and Prince Corporation. His extensive professional background, combined with an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and graduate work at Michigan State, positions him as a valuable asset to Buy-Side clients.

In his role as a Buy-Side M&A Advisor, Jim will take charge of deals from the moment a client is ready to move forward with a warm lead through closing. He'll lead the team, facilitate introductions, oversee valuations, guide deal structure, negotiate for clients, secure financing, manage due diligence, and coordinate the closing process to ensure a smooth transaction.

Outside of work, Jim is a track and field official at the high school, college, and professional levels, and enjoys brewing beer in his free time.
