Current Role: Jared is a Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor at Calder Capital. He is responsible for assisting Sell-Side clients in qualifying and vetting potential buyers, conducting due diligence, structuring deals, and navigating the intricate landscape of M&A transactions.

Background: Jared’s career spans over a decade across financial and direct selling sectors, including tenures at US Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and most recently, Amway. At Amway, he held roles of Manager of Performance Marketing as well as multiple Lead Analyst positions, driving insights and strategy across a global portfolio. His work has directly contributed to strategic planning, operational efficiencies, and the execution of Amway’s growth. Jared excels in driving growth and operational efficiencies, blending critical thinking with creative solutions to deliver results. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from Western Michigan University and is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, certified by the Exit Planning Institute. A native of Grand Rapids, Jared’s journey has taken him from the Sierra Nevada mountains in California, where he spent two summers as a camp counselor, to stints living in Denver and Chicago. He moved to Chicago to be with his now-wife, Emily, who was also a Grand Rapids native. Eventually, life brought them full circle back to the Grand Rapids area, where they chose to settle down near family.

Hobbies: Outside of work, Jared enjoys disconnecting and spending time outdoors. He finds relaxation and adventure in fishing and travel, while sports like basketball, golf, baseball, and pickleball keep him active. Additionally, he appreciates music and attending concerts.
