At Calder, we foster a dynamic culture rooted in learning and perseverance in our internship program. Countless current analysts and advisors began their journey with us as undergraduate interns, excited and hungry for industry experience.
We’re Proud to Introduce Hunter Peterson!
Hunter is a University of Chicago student and hails from Muskegon, Michigan. He cherishes nature and spends his free time exploring Michigan’s beauty and hiking trails. Engaged with his school’s Outdoor Adventure Club, he stays connected to the outdoors while studying in the Windy City. When not outdoors, Hunter enjoys reading and listening to podcasts like Huberman Lab, The Lex Fridman Podcast, and Freakonomics Radio, expanding his knowledge and interests. Hunter is a dedicated volunteer and CTO at the Muskegon chapter of SCORE Mentors.
Hunter’s strong will makes the entire team excited to welcome him to the office. When asked what he looks forward to most about interning with Calder, he shared “One area of excitement is the opportunity to work on live M&A processes, as gaining direct transaction experience is something not afforded by traditional classroom learning. As an extension of this, I’m also looking forward to continuing to develop my knowledge as it pertains to some of the foundational skills for a successful finance professional, such as the ability to understand and value businesses. Finally, I’m excited to have the opportunity to be part of a team environment at Calder, as I have heard time and time again that mastering soft skills is one of the most important drivers of success in the industry.”
